First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Beech Valley.
Client Controller
The interview is automated and led by a machine. It involves an aptitude test and a personality test. The aptitude test includes tasks like long addition, a multiplication problem, and a few questions on fractions. Other questions are similar to Mensa puzzles and don't seem related to job skills. The personality test is also not serious. There was no human interaction at all.
- For Mensa questions, like choosing which shape belongs to the empty box.
- Or, what comes next if you have these 3 patterns.
Bookkeeper
So after I put in my application on Indeed, I got an invite to do some assessments. About a week later, I heard back and we set up a time to chat. The call went great, and now I'm in their network. The whole thing took a few weeks.
- What kind of jobs are you seeking?
Auditor
I reached out to Beech Valley about a year ago for a remote senior auditor role, even though I'm overqualified, because I wanted more flexibility. They sent me some assessments. I completed them, but kept getting emails to do them again. I also tried to get updates from the recruiter but never heard back, so I gave up and found another job. Almost a year later, I got an email from Beech Valley for a phone call. The call with Talent Operations went well, and she asked me to complete the same assessments again. I did them. The next day, the Director of Recruiting emailed to say they couldn't move forward with me. I guess it was the assessments, but it's weird because I've done them for other companies without issues. They're unorganized, which is a red flag for me.

Accountant
The interview process was quick and efficient. First, they look at your resume, then you do a test, and after that, they give you a call for the interview. It was one of the best processes I've experienced.
- How would you describe yourself to a client?
