Customer Service Representative
So I had my first interview over the phone with their HR Recruiter, who was pretty nice and really pushed for me to move on to the next stage. The second interview was over Teams on screen with 2 hiring managers, and honestly, I felt like one of the managers was against me from the very start. They asked me the same question twice when the 3rd GM popped on briefly, and then they questioned my answer like I was lying. I've never had an interview experience like that. I waited over 3 weeks for that second interview, and then another week after the interview to find out I wasn't what they were looking for.
- Can you share an instance where you exceeded expectations for a customer?
Customer Support Representative
I applied for this role and about a week later, I got a rejection email late at night. The wording felt insulting because I have two years of experience in credit unions and did well in those jobs, but the email said I didn't have the necessary skills and experience. At the same time, they said they were impressed by my background and could see I'm passionate. It's confusing. BECU needs to think about how they communicate with applicants. Overall, it was a bad experience and I wouldn't recommend them.

Customer Care Representative
The interview was pleasant, well-explained, and provided good information. I had the opportunity to ask several questions, and the interviewer's responses made the experience feel more personal. The work schedule I selected aligns well with my responsibilities as a single parent, alleviating concerns about daily child transportation.
