An employee reached out via our campus recruiting site. I set up an on-campus interview, then had a second phone interview. The last step was an in-office interview, which I assume was the final one. Everything was good until the last interview. They sent over 40 pages of reading and case studies, due less than 12 hours later, and only after I followed up to confirm the interview was still on. The interview involved presenting my analysis and suggestions on the materials. During the interview, they made rude remarks about another employee. I haven't heard back since, despite several follow-ups.
- What were your thoughts and suggestions on the provided reading and case studies?
Business Development Associate
Applied and got an initial interview about a day or two later. Then had two phone calls with directors within a week. These were standard phone interviews, but they felt rushed and I didn't get to showcase my strengths. Before the interviews, I had to fill out a lengthy "career history" form that felt intrusive and irrelevant. After the interviews, I heard nothing back, not even a rejection.
- Tell me about your summers in college.
- What were your college financing methods?
- What are your career goals?
News Writer
It was a really quick interview process. I had two rounds, the first one was about 20 minutes and the second one was an hour. Right after the second interview, they asked for my references. Then I didn't hear anything back for a while until I followed up, and they told me there wasn't an opening for me.
- Can you explain your process for news intake?

Staff Writer
It started with a screening call with the recruiter where I talked about my background and why I wanted the job. Then I had a second interview with the hiring manager that went deeper into my experience and the specifics of the role.
- Can you describe your experience creating concise news summaries?
