Took several interview rounds with many different people. They really took their time getting to know me and asked a lot of personal and behavioral questions. The whole process took a while to set up because so many people were involved.

The interview was great, and it included three rounds: a recruiter screen, an interpersonal interview, and a technical interview. The interviewers were friendly and asked good questions that were designed to assess your development skills rather than your ability to solve LeetCode problems.

I applied for a job in my area that they had posted after selling seed on the retail level for 10 years and wanted to focus on just seed. I was contacted a few weeks later via email and asked to forward some more information. I did this promptly. Next, I was asked to do a test and survey. After I did all this I heard nothing. I did reach out about 10 days after being told the hiring manager will be visiting with me soon, but this was a month ago. It's tough to find a contact to call or get emails returned. A simple yes or still in consideration or no your not would go along ways, especially after you waste time taking tests and surveys to see how you may stack up. The worst part is being told the hiring manager will be reaching out to you. Well, it's been over a month and no emails have been returned nor have I received a phone call. Proceed with caution! Try to get the number of the HR or the Hiring Manager if you apply; it will likely save you being upset like I was.

Behavioral Technical Presentation

So the interview process was pretty long and took forever. There were a bunch of steps. First, a recruiter, then I talked to a company executive on the phone. The recruiter called again, then I had a session with a consulting psychologist. Then, I finally had my onsite interview. After that, I met with a generalist from HR, then another executive, and finally the CEO. Each of these was a totally separate part of the process. Turns out they ended up promoting someone from within, who was hired by the same recruiter the previous year. It seems like a decent company, but honestly, way too many interview stages for a management-level position.
