The process was straightforward and quick, with all interviews scheduled for a single day. The entire process was conducted online. I met with several interviewers, and they were well-prepared with their questions. It was clear they had prepared in advance and used a script to ensure a comprehensive screening.

I applied in the first week of November 2020 and got an email from HR in mid December. The interview covered company knowledge, resume-based questions, and some logic math problems. Unfortunately, I didn't hear back after that. It seemed they were looking for candidates with prior internship experience rather than focusing on qualifications and knowledge. My certifications got me the interview, but I think internships are really important for starting a career. Recruiters should trust eligible candidates, especially for their first job, to avoid the cycle of needing experience for a job and a job for experience.

So, I went in person for the interview. There were two interviewers who talked to me. They asked me some technical questions and then some questions that were specific to project engineering. The whole thing was about an hour long, and they probably spoke for about half of that time.

At the Baytown, TX office, I was interviewed by all the staff (only 4 others work there) and the division manager. Most asked the same questions and all gave an honest view of the company and experience.

Everyone in the office has a very high level of independence/autonomy, and you will excel and succeed if you are a problem solver and can figure things out on your own, or at least attempt to before asking for clarification/help.
