They asked me about my experience, checked out my Instagram and website for examples of my work. We also discussed my education, sales goals, availability, how far I'd travel, and my rates. It was pretty standard.

Behavioral

Applied on LinkedIn and a BECCA recruiter contacted me via email to set up a phone screen. The phone screen itself was good; we had a pleasant and informative chat. They were very upfront about the good and bad aspects of working there. The job is hourly, and after we talked, we followed up by email about pay. We ended up not being on the same page regarding compensation. For an experienced admin, the pay is lower than the market rate, though it might be typical for the beauty industry, where salaries seem to be a bit on the lower side.
