Purchasing Agent
I applied online and about a week later, near the end of day on Friday, the VP of Operations called me. He wanted to schedule the interview for the weekend and I ended up having an in-person interview on Monday at 1:30.
- What would you do if you couldn't finish your to-do list?
- Even though you're hired for Charleston, would you mind driving to Myrtle Beach a couple times a week?
- If you were working on a task and I asked you to stop and focus on something more urgent, how would you respond?
New Home Consultant
Applied and finished the company's application and assessment. Got an email from a recruiter to set up a phone interview. Then, a manager texted to schedule an in-person interview. I waited about 20 minutes at the office before going to the interviewer's office. The interview was about 30 minutes. Afterward, I sent a thank you text to the number that invited me. The next week, I emailed the recruiter to thank them for the chance since I hadn't heard back. I never got a response via email, phone, or text.
- How do you handle working for a boss who is direct and to the point?
Escrow and Closing Specialist
The interview process involved a Teams call. The recruiter spent 30 minutes with me but then never followed up. I also noticed they posted a new job listing about a week later that was basically the same as a position I had at another title company. It shows how unprofessional they are, ghosting candidates after interviews and then creating new roles based on someone's background.
- Can you tell me about your experience?
- Do you have prior title experience?
- How do you handle working under pressure?
Information Manager
We exchanged a few emails, then had a phone interview. After that, there were 2 zoom interviews (one with multiple people asking questions) and 1 in-person interview. They also had me do a behavioral survey to see if I'd be a good fit for the job description. Overall, the interview process wasn't too bad.
- Can you tell me about your previous experience and how it relates to this role?
- What is your understanding of our company?
- What are your thoughts on our company's activities in the home building market?
