I was called in twice for a face to face interview within a year. Then I spent over an hour on an online problem solving questionnaire. Both times, I received no follow up. When I finally tracked down the manager for an update, I got a short reply saying someone else was hired but they wanted to keep my resume on file. Poor follow through, especially considering the time I devoted. They only hire 12-month contracted employees.

I applied and was promptly set up for an interview. The very next day, I met with the store manager and her assistant. We talked for a while, and they asked a lot of questions, a lot of the same ones just phrased a bit differently.

Saw the job posting on the store window. It was initially part-time, but they had high turnover with 3 employees leaving soon after. I spoke with a few "store managers," and while they were nice, the constant departures were concerning.

I was contacted by the District Manager and we had a one-on-one chat. It was super casual and comfortable. She asked some questions and we just talked to make it feel relaxed. I got the offer within two weeks and started training right away. It was a pretty simple process.
