The HR person was good, but the interviewer for the Pharmacology department was out of touch because he didn't read my CV and dismissed my experience as irrelevant when I described it. He was specifically looking for a PhD candidate. It's puzzling why he's at a pharmacy conference and interviewing PharmDs if that's the case. It felt like a waste of my time. So, if you're a PharmD looking for a job, focus on preparing for other interviewers who will take you seriously. Beam seems to disregard people's time.

I had a phone screen with a recruiter, then another with a company TA rep. After that, I met with the hiring manager. Then, they set up a 6-person panel interview for me. The day before the panel, one interviewer had to reschedule. On the day of the panel, during my first interview, I got an email saying one of the panelists I was supposed to meet next had rescheduled. The interviewers didn't seem to know my CV well and didn't give the impression they do this often. The interviews were supposed to be 30 minutes, but it wasn't enough time because most interviewers were a few minutes late, or they talked too much and didn't leave much time for questions and answers.

It was a pretty straightforward interview process. The HR person did a great job of keeping me updated the whole time. There were four rounds: one with HR, one with the hiring manager, a presentation and a team interview, and then one with the CEO. They made a decision really quickly, and I got an offer just a week after my interviews. The HR contact was super responsive.
