Human Resources
I was referred by someone on the team, so the interview process moved really fast and was super efficient. It was cool to see the high trust within the team before I join.
- Can you describe your experience with the systems we currently utilize?
- What is your experience with the process improvements we are currently undertaking?
Registered Nurse
The interview process was pretty standard. I met with the department manager for about 35-45 minutes, and then she showed me around the unit. The whole meeting lasted around an hour. There was a job shadow, but I think that was mostly for me to decide if I wanted the job, rather than for them to assess me. After I told the manager I liked the unit, she said she'd have the recruiter offer me the position. The entire process, from applying to getting the offer, took about 2-3 weeks. I even got an offer before finishing nursing school.
- Can you tell me a little about yourself?
- What made you choose a career in nursing?
Customer Service Representative
I filled out a bunch of applications and they called me about a job I didn't even apply for. I said yes and set up an interview. Then I went in and talked to two women. One was nice but the other one barely paid attention. After they asked questions, I took a typing test. Two weeks later, I got an email saying they hired someone else. A few weeks after that, they emailed me again for a customer service job. I had to do a background check and a personality test online first. The interview itself was with a nice woman who explained the job and said my degree would be a good fit and there was room to grow. She made it sound like I had the job. I sent a thank you email and she said it would take a couple of weeks to hear back. It's been a month and I still haven't heard anything.
- Can you share an instance where you made an error at work and describe how you fixed it?
ICU Registered Nurse
I was recruited while working somewhere else. Accepted the job offer. Had an interview, it was easy. I told them about my autism and ADHD to make sure they were fine with it, and they were. I got the job. About a month later, the first signs of my autism showed, and I was fired.
- Were you okay with the day shift position?
- Were you okay with hiring neurodivergent employees?
