First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Beacon Funding.
Sales Development Representative Team Lead
The interview process was pretty streamlined and everyone was great. They really want to hear about your hard work ethic and touch on previous sales experience or entrepreneurial endeavors. Overall, it was a great process. The job is tough, but you can make good money.
- Can you tell me about your sales and marketing background?
Graphic Designer
I had two phone chats, one with someone from HR, and then with the marketing Director. After that, I went in for an in-person at their office. There, I met with a designer, someone who does email marketing, and then the Director of Marketing again. I thought it went pretty well, and the Director even said he'd be shocked if I didn't get an offer, but after waiting for three weeks, they let me know the job was taken.
- What's your background in email marketing?

I had a great experience with the HR coordinator. We talked on the phone a few times, and she gave me all the info on the job, the office vibe, and benefits. She was super nice, not pushy at all, and really easy to chat with. She did a good job of checking if I'd be a good fit. After that, I chatted with two people from the department I'd be working in to get their take on the job and what it involves. Lastly, I went to the office for a face-to-face meeting with the team I'd be joining, basically a meet-and-greet to see if our personalities clicked.
- Can you walk me through your previous jobs?
- What were your responsibilities in those roles?
- What's prompting your job search?
Lease Administrator
It was a long interview process! First, I chatted with HR, then I talked to my potential manager. After that, I met the team I'd be working with daily in the office. I also had another phone chat with the VP. They really made sure I was a good fit and let me meet my future colleagues before hiring me. The interviews were over the phone, giving us both a chance to see if it worked out. Finally, my application went to the CEO for approval, and I got the job offer.
- Tell me about your experience.
- What is your reason for leaving your previous role?
