I applied online and heard back two days later via email to set up a 15-minute phone screen. I managed to schedule it for two days after that. The call went smoothly, focusing on my understanding of their company, the industry, and the product space. I was informed it might take a few weeks for them to review and decide who would advance.

I had a really bad interview experience at Beacon. I spent a lot of my personal time interviewing and then just got a generic email saying they moved on. My friend who works there recommended I apply because they thought I'd be a good fit. The interviewer seemed fake. They should have called to tell me why I didn't get the job. My friend was mad and is looking for a new job now. Thanks Beacon for being unprofessional.

The interview process for this payroll role was super long and kinda annoying. It started with a recruiter call where they asked me about my current situation, why I was looking to leave, and my salary expectations. After passing that, I had an interview with the lead, which was about two weeks later. Then, I interviewed with two people from the team, and after that, two more people from the team. Finally, I had an interview with the department executive. All of this happened within a two-week timeframe, so that’s 5 rounds total for a pretty basic job. They ended up ghosting me, and honestly, even if they had offered me the job, I would have declined because that's just way too many steps involved.

The interview process was quite lengthy, spanning five months from the initial recruiter contact to the final interview. All interviews were one-on-one, without any panel sessions, though they were spaced out more than I would have preferred. There were about six to seven rounds, involving interactions with all the team and department heads I would have been working with. Unfortunately, the company was acquired by QXO shortly after my final interview, and QXO implemented an indefinite hiring freeze, so I never received a job offer.
