Candidate interview experiences
First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at BE Aerospace.
Intern
I spoke with HR on the phone, then met with the hiring manager, and finally the VP. It took 3 separate visits. They asked pretty standard questions, nothing too technical. The process was pretty straightforward, though they took a bit longer than expected to get back to me. Make sure to express your strong interest in the company and your willingness to work hard. Overall, it was a good experience.
- What about this company interests you and why do you think you'd be a great fit?
Intern
The interview lasted about an hour and was with the operations manager. It started with several behavioral questions, then moved on to some key operational concepts. Some questions about my resume were also asked.
- What would you do in a situation with a tight schedule?
- How would you handle feeling angry towards someone?
- What's your approach to building a good relationship with someone you've had conflict with in the past?
Intern
I applied online. I had a phone interview a few weeks later. I was asked a few questions about my experiences and interests. I asked what the next steps were and was given an offer before I hung up. I started a few weeks after. I wasn't given much info/help with the move to Washington.
- What experiences do you have?
- What are you interested in?
