After a 45 min. screening call with HR, I had a manager interview, but the job specifics were unclear. When I asked HR for clarification, I had a video call with 2 team managers. I realized the team would be on the West Coast even though the office was in the Midwest. They stressed the need to be in the office 3 days a week, but no one on my team would be there and the role wasn't for a local client. I asked to visit the local office, and met with another manager. The visit wouldn't have been arranged if I hadn't asked. After the visit, I emailed to withdraw my application and decline the offer. The recruiter then sent benefits info I'd asked for earlier and reiterated the offer. My email wasn't fully read.

I had a pretty unsettling interview process at BDA. It involved several standard stages, but then I had an interview with a manager. This manager asked me only two questions: "what's your understanding of the position?" and "do you have any questions for me?" I answered professionally. The manager kept apologizing for being "non-linear" and unable to maintain their train of thought. The weird part was when the manager brought up personal politics, saying "You wouldn't ever catch me on the West Coast because of the extreme political climate." I was surprised and politely declined to discuss it further. I was immediately rejected. The manager made no effort to learn about me as a candidate, which makes me wonder if agreeing with their politics would have helped me move forward. I don't recommend BDA with this kind of political climate.

I had two interview rounds, first a pre-screening with HR and then the final interview with the Sales Operations Manager for the Manila Site back in May 2022. They got back to me quickly with feedback. The onboarding process was smooth, and the starting work hours for training were reasonable.

The interview was mostly conversational. They asked me about my past experience and some basic questions about my strengths and what kind of jobs I prefer. I didn't make it to the second round since I'm still in college and they needed to fill roles right away. I'm pretty sure I would have gotten an offer if I was graduating soon.
