The interview process went like this: First, there was a one-hour phone interview with someone from Human Resources. Then, we had a two-hour virtual interview with three different Directors from the department. Finally, they decided whether to make an offer or not.

A recruiter reached out on LinkedIn about an Assistant Branch Manager role. We chatted briefly about the position. After I sent my resume, I had interviews scheduled with 3 Regional Branch Managers about a week later. These were virtual and back to back. The first was more informal, discussing the company and myself. The second was more factual and one-sided. The third focused on softer skills.

The interview process was very smooth. My recruiter kept me informed about where I was in the process and was very prompt in responding to any questions I had. She reached out to keep me connected between interviews. The onboarding process after I got the offer was fantastic. My first week was unlike any other experience I've had at other employers; I knew where I needed to be and when. Everyone was kind and helpful when I arrived, ensuring my onboarding was great. I'm very pleased to have joined the BCU family!

The interview process feels pretty intense, but it's doable. I think they've designed it well to see if you're a good fit for BCU and if BCU is a good fit for you. The first interview is a video recording. Then, in the second round, I met with four people. The third round involved meeting with one person. It was a really thorough process, and it was obvious they cared about me as a person, not just my work history and how I'd do the job. It was tough, but I mean that as a compliment. Given BCU's culture and work ethic, the interview process seems perfectly suited for them.
