Interview process was longer than most, but well worth it! The actual timeframe was not long, but there are more screening measures than I was used to. The process consisted of a phone interview, online testing and an in person interview. The in person interview lasted 2-3 hours, with multiple people. It made me feel like, whether I received an offer or not, that this company hires to retain! They cared about qualifications, knowledge and personality. The additional measures in place did not seem out of place, but rather to ensure a good fit. Everyone was friendly and the recruiter did a great job of communicating timelines and expectations.

I got my application in online and then got a call back pretty quick, like within three days. I wanted to make sure it wasn't some kind of sales gig, and they confirmed it wasn't. I also let them know I was only interested in a full-time role, not seasonal. They then set up an interview for a full-time position, and that's all we talked about. The initial phone chat lasted about an hour and a half. After that, they scheduled me for a panel interview the next week. When I went in, they asked me to do a 5-7 minute presentation, listen to some phone calls, and then we had the actual interview. That part took about two hours. At the end of the interview, which I thought went really well, they asked me some exit interview questions. Then, they circled back to asking if I was interested in seasonal work. I repeated that I was still only looking for full-time because I need benefits. That didn't seem to go over well. I sent a thank you email about 36 hours later and got a really unprofessional reply. I didn't respond after that and felt like I was misled from the start. I wouldn't want to work for a company that isn't upfront.

It started with a 20 minute phone interview with the recruiter where we used the STAR method. Then, I was told I'd get a link for a video interview, which was super weird. Basically, you have to record yourself answering a bunch of interview questions in the STAR format. It was really uncomfortable for me, and I felt like I couldn't really show off my experience or personality because I was too worried about how the video would turn out. You also can't change your answers after you record them.

The hiring process was quite drawn out. After applying online, I received a call two weeks later. Then, a week after that, I had a phone interview. The following week involved a video interview and a skills test. Another week passed before a second video interview. This was followed by an onsite interview. Finally, I received the job offer. Although not explicitly stated until later, a drug test is required before the official job offer is emailed. The whole hiring journey took nearly two months.
