The entire hiring process included 3 interviews: the first was with Human Resources, the second with Channel and Resources Directors, and the third with the VP of Channel & Sales. Everyone I interacted with was very professional, objective, and human. The HR Coordinator was super efficient and cleared up all my questions quickly. I was worried about my wife being pregnant and how that might affect things due to maternal leave, but they turned out to be really inclusive and human-centered. I accepted the offer and am excited to join them!

Behavioral Technical Presentation

I applied for a New Business Development role at bChannels Inc. in Orem, UT via Indeed.com and was contacted by HR for a phone interview. This one-hour call focused on my background, fit for the company, and what makes me unique. Next, I had an in-person meeting where they detailed the job and introduced me to the team. Then, I interviewed with the CEO and an associate via Skype for about an hour. The CEO felt I was suited for a higher-level position than the one I applied for. A local manager called later, stating an offer was being prepared for a new hybrid role combining the original position and the one the CEO deemed me qualified for. Before that, I was asked to meet the top salesperson for the higher role to discuss training. This 15-minute meeting happened as he was rushing to another meeting, and I basically repeated what I'd said to the manager and CEO. Three days later, I got a call saying the new position wouldn't be created because the salesperson thought I couldn't be trained adequately for the business needs. This was a really frustrating and unorganized process. Key issues were that a senior sales rep's opinion seemed to matter more than the local manager's, the HR manager's, or the CEO's. Also, if they'd looked at my resume properly initially, this could have been avoided. And since I interviewed with the same information, I don't see why the senior sales rep needed to meet me to decide I was 'under qualified' when that should have been obvious from my resume.

I applied via indeed.co.uk and a few days later got invited for a phone interview with the HR Coordinator. About a week after applying, I had my second interview with the HR Coordinator and a Program Manager. A few days after that, I received an offer. The whole process was very easy and straightforward, especially considering the current times, and I was really impressed with how well it was organized and carried out.

So, there were 3 rounds of interviews. The first one was with an HR manager over a webinar, lasting about an hour. Then, the second and third interviews were face-to-face with a General Manager and a marketing coordinator, each about 45 minutes long, where I talked about my past work.
