It started with an HR screening, then there were two rounds of interviews, each with two interviewers. After that, I got an offer. The atmosphere was positive, and most of the interviews were online. They explained the process well from the start and gave feedback after each round.

Case Behavioral

The process was handled by a headhunter. There were two conversations, both with partners. The career/personal questions were standard and a bit boring. Both interviews involved case studies, which were fair, although I expected something different from BCG PLT. The interviews were very fair and friendly, and the interviewers were completely focused on the discussion. The process differed from what was discussed; I was considered for an Industry Sales Expert role for Project Delivery. The switch would have been a downgrade in seniority, so the conversations were more of a goodwill gesture (on my part) to gain experience. BCG PLT ultimately felt the same way.

Behavioral Technical

I was contacted by a recruiter, who guided me through the process. For the most part, the process was straightforward, but the company came across as unorganized and disrespectful. I went through a CV screen and a more informal chat with a recruiter as well afterwards about my experience. These were good and fine, and then moved forward to a Round 1 interview. First issue: BCG re-scheduled my R1 interview 6 different times. They even emailed me at ~4pm, asking if I could move my interview up to the following morning at 8am. I said no, and was able to interview further out. Secondly: On the day of my R1 interview, about an hour before the interview, they pushed it back a little bit and shortened it from 60min to 45min. Third: When the interviewer called into the interview, they were walking into an elevator. After being disconnected, they called again from the parking lot and conducted the entire interview, camera off, while driving. Fourth: The feedback I received reflected information that was inaccurate, which I had clarified multiple times with the interviewer (who was driving). I followed up in writing afterwards to clear up the confusion. Further, one glance at my resume would have cleared up my experience, or a chat with the recruiter who conducted the CV screen and verified my information.
