First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at BCG Platinion.
IT Consultant
The whole process took about 3 months, which felt very long. The recruitment agency they used was pretty unprofessional, giving me hardly any updates or guidance, and I had to chase them a lot. I was told all interviews were in-person. What they told me about the interview format wasn't what actually happened in the rounds, which was frustrating because I prepared based on their info. One senior person asked me about my current life stage and mentioned how some women have kids, which I'm not sure if that's appropriate. I also got the sense they might prefer people with Big Four experience.

IT Consultant
The entire process at BCG Platinion was seamless and efficient, with three steps. First, they screened my resume and had a chat with a recruiter. This was a good intro to the company and let me ask questions. Second, I had the first round of interviews, two one-hour sessions. Each had a fit interview and a case study. I also got to ask questions, which helped clarify things. Third, the second round of interviews. It was like the first round but with feedback from the previous round, so I knew how I did and what to improve. I got feedback and a clear decision after each round. The case studies were about business, digital strategy, and IT topics, needing a top-down approach, problem-solving, and a structured hypothesis. The whole thing took about a month and was very smooth. The team was professional, helpful, and expert.

IT Consultant
I applied at BCG Platinion and was contacted by HR to set up the typical business case interview. You get assigned a buddy and have an initial chance to ask your questions. Then, you get access to a platform called Case Coach to help you prepare, and I had two weeks to get ready. It was a really interesting experience overall, and I learned a lot. The people at BCG Platinion are super friendly, and I don't regret the hard work because I learned so much and met great people. I didn't pass the interview because I overprepared and kind of froze due to stress. The business cases themselves weren't that hard, which was a good lesson for me. Next time, I'll make sure to chill out more while preparing and definitely rest the day before and do nothing :)
- How would you approach an ERP system implementation, considering the need to structure the problem with drivers?
- Given the company's history of M&A, how would you address the IT system fragmentation arising from different sister companies having their own ERPs?
- Could you explain the benefits of cloud computing?
