They ask for a portfolio with some questions and situational scenarios. You'll need to submit a long-form portfolio with descriptions. I heard back really quickly and the recruiter/HR were consistent with communication. Be ready to submit a lot of words/graphics to show examples of your work and anything else they might want.

Behavioral Technical

The interview process was lengthy, involving interviews with multiple team members. It was challenging to coordinate schedules due to specific availability requests. After completing four interviews, candidates not selected receive a generic automated email stating, "thanks for your application." The process felt impersonal and unprofessional.

I interviewed with BCD Meetings and Travel for a business analyst role (remote). The first interview was with the recruiter who was super nice and laid out the whole interview process for me. They asked questions about my background and why I was interested in this role and company. The second interview was with the VP who had behavioral questions and a casual conversation to get to know each other. Mostly behavioral questions and more information about how this role operates. The third was a technical interview, where I was asked about SQL, Power BI, Excel formulas, etc., some behavioral questions and a casual get to know each other conversation. Key note is they are not expecting you to know everything and if you don't know something, admit it. They want you to learn and if you can learn it fast, that's all they want. The fourth was with the leadership and account managers/directors, a casual conversation about why you want this role and some behavioral questions. One thing to mention is throughout the process they are extremely nice, transparent about where you are in the process and no ghosting. The recruiter will be your main point of contact throughout the process and will keep you updated on where you are.

Behavioral Technical Other

It was a 3 round process. First was a phone screening, then a round with the line manager and supervisor focusing on behaviour and competency questions. The last round was a language test, since Mandarin is required for the role. The whole process was easy and quick. I was impressed by the HR's efficiency, they were extremely reliable and responsive. The line manager was suuper nice, patient and willing to help. Apart from my interest towards the role's responsibilities, I highly value the culture and colleagues that I'm going to work with, and I think BCDME does it really well.
