Universal Banker
The first step is a quick meet and greet. It's with one or two hiring managers who will ask some general questions. It shouldn't take more than 12-15 minutes. They'll let you know if they want to move forward to a second interview with you.
- Could you start by telling me about yourself?
- What is your interest in BCB Bank?
Teller
It was a very pleasant and stress-free interview experience. The questions mostly focused on the responsibilities and duties of the Teller position. There were also some questions about my personal background and qualifications.
- How would you handle an angry customer?
- Could you describe your background and qualifications?
IT Help Desk Technician
Had a phone interview setup really fast. The interviewer couldn't give me salary details but talked up the benefits and said the pay was competitive. They mentioned they were doing in-person interviews the next few days. About 30 minutes after the call, I got an email asking me to come in for an interview the very next day. I wasn't sure but agreed to the in-person interview. During the interview, they asked about my past experience, skills, and schooling, and specifically about IP addresses. They asked what salary I was looking for and then offered me 15k less than that. They really pushed for me to accept, saying I didn't have experience and that this job would help me grow. I had to turn them down multiple times before I just said thank you and left.
- Can you tell me about the four components of an IP address?
- Could you share any school projects you've worked on?
- Tell me about your background, skills, and education.
