Customer Service Representative
I had a call with HR, then the director of customer service. Never got the last interview with the Sales Manager. After asking about salary 3 times and being assured it would be double, they decided not to offer me the job because they couldn't meet the salary.
- Can you tell me about your basic qualifications for the job?
Account Manager
I talked to the recruitment team first, and then the director. It was a positive experience. They answered all my questions and seemed genuinely invested in my career goals, not just assessing my fit for the company, but also ensuring the company was a good fit for me.
- What is your primary motivator: success or failure?
Account Executive
I went through 5 interviews that were pretty standard, covering my past jobs, why I'm interested in this role, and my future with the company. It was a tough process, but being prepared, confident, and honest helps a lot. I appreciated them dedicating so much time to the interviews, showing they're invested if they decide to hire you.
- How would you describe your sales approach using non-traditional examples?
Account Executive
So I got referred by a coworker. First, I talked to a local account manager who then sent my info to the Regional Director. I then interviewed with the RD in person. She sent my info to Chicago HQ. I had three Skype interviews there: one with a Talent Acquisition Specialist, another with a different RD, and the last one with the CEO. After a background check and drug test, I got the offer. It took a while, but they really want to make sure they're hiring qualified people who are serious about the job.
- What animal would you be?
- How would you describe yourself to a stranger?
