I had an interview with the HR Manager and my future supervisor. The meeting felt good and productive. We confirmed the previously discussed details about tasks, team, vacation, etc.

It was okay but you could sense that the company wasn't doing too well financially or that something was wrong. The salary offered was pretty cheeky, and the expectations were really high for what was being offered. Not wanting to pay much but expecting top performance and demands doesn't match. Otherwise, it was a great interview, but you could tell something was off or not right in the company or branch.

Spoke with an HR person and a Compliance Manager. Both were super friendly in the chat and also in the communication afterwards. Besides typical questions, they asked about my motivation and my willingness to accept the working conditions (hybrid work, min. 16h/week). I really, really didn't want to turn down the offer at BayWa.

I got an email asking me to do a work sample. After I finished that, they set up a phone interview. Then I talked to a Manager, and after that, I met with the team. It all seemed really good. The person who first contacted me then reached out to give me a timeline and asked if it worked for me. I was pretty sure I'd get an offer, but I didn't. A few days later, she told me they weren't moving forward with my application. All those meetings and the sample felt like a waste of my time. Some people really want you to do a whole show for what they pay, which is crazy. Well, it just wasn't for me, I guess.
