Candidate interview experiences
First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at BayPort Credit Union.
Branch Manager
I got a really quick call back for an interview. It was a panel interview where they asked STAR questions. I got feedback about 1-2 weeks after the interview. There was only one round.
- Can you describe an instance where you had to handle a challenging interaction with a member?
MSR I
The interview process was quick and direct, with questions that seemed relevant to the job and familiar. A prior phone interview helped me get ready for different personalities. Follow-up questions were addressed promptly and truthfully.
- What are your five-year career aspirations?
Implementation Engineer
I had one on-site interview with a panel of 3 or 4 people. Since I applied for two jobs, the panel had hiring managers from both. It lasted about 1.5 hours. Everyone on the panel asked me about my past work, my education, and how I work with others.
- Can you tell me about your professional experience?
- What is your educational background?
- How have you demonstrated teamwork skills?
Member Service Representative
The interview was really chill and helped me relax. They let me guide the conversation and then asked follow-up questions. Honestly, it was one of the simpler interviews I've gone through.
- Tell me what you know about our company.
