the interview was easy, it was 30 minutes long and with 2 people over zoom. It was really quick. I got asked to come in for a second interview and tour. They told me a recruiter will reach out with an update.

A recruiter reached out via LinkedIn about a role I didn't know was open. I applied, and another recruiter contacted me. I discussed my past roles and salary. We talked about pay differences, which I explained. An informal interview was set up quickly, followed by several formal interviews a week later. After the last one, a recruiter asked me to fill out a full application with info I'd already given. Then, I was told they were still interviewing others. Weeks went by with no word. I messaged the recruiter for an update, but got no response. I was disappointed, not because I wasn't chosen, but because I expected a final call to wrap things up, especially since they initiated my application.

Behavioral Technical

There were 3 rounds. The person who would be my boss had trouble explaining the role and admitted she didn't understand it herself. Important tip: don't show you're nervous, even in the first 7 minutes. The recruiter said I didn't get the job because I seemed nervous and didn't wear business professional attire for a virtual interview, which is odd since my potential direct boss wore a T-shirt and another interviewer wore just a flannel. I wore a silk blouse.
