My first interview got cancelled by the interviewer like 10 minutes before it was supposed to start, she called out. So I rescheduled it for the next day and it was a phone interview. It didn't start on time, which made me think it might be a repeat of the day before. She did call 4 minutes late, and asked if it was a good time or if we needed to reschedule. I said it was fine. Then she started telling me about the job, kinda like she was reading from a list. When I was talking, she would cut me off to ask the next question. It felt rushed and like she wasn't listening to my answers. The whole interview was only 11 minutes. She said I'd hear back in a couple of days if I was a good fit.

The interview process began with a 20-minute phone call from a recruiter, which felt like a pretty straightforward screening. After that, I had a longer, more involved interview that lasted about 1.5 hours over Zoom. This one was with the Branch Manager, Operations Manager, and Sales Manager, and I had to do it via Zoom because I was coming from out of state.

The branch manager reached out the day after I submitted my resume. My first interview was the following Monday where they asked me straightforward questions like, 'What's your experience?', 'Why Bay Alarm?', and 'Why are you looking to leave your current company?'. I got a call the same day for a second interview the next day with a regional manager. The regional manager went into more detail about why I wanted to work for Bay Alarm and if I knew about the direct and indirect services they offer. I got a contingent offer two days later, and then the formal offer came a week after that.

It was a fast and easy interview process. They only do a DUI background check for up to 5 years. I was interviewed by two people who are installers themselves and have been with the company for 5 years. It's a fast interview, and if you have similar experience, like in construction, they'll want to hire you.
