I went through a 5 step interview process. I had 2 interviews with the Hiring Manager (one virtual and one in-person), then an interview with the HR Manager, and finally an interview with the Director. It was nerve wracking each time, they asked all the standard questions. Overall, it was a great interview experience because the people I spoke with were all personable and there was a good flow between questions. They were reading from a script, and you could tell they were looking for specific answers that matched the role and the interviewer.

The interview was really thorough and friendly, felt like a comfortable environment. They explained the position and responsibilities in detail. Asked detailed questions about my abilities and qualifications for the role. I asked all my questions about the position, company, and benefits. I got called back twice to interview with higher ups.

A recruiter reached out and set up an interview with the hiring manager. Even though the hiring manager was in a technical role, they seemed to lack the experience or knowledge to be helpful or guide the position I was applying for. I was asked basic questions that the hiring manager didn't know the answers to. The job description was a mess of unrelated skills that probably wouldn't be found in one person and weren't typical for this kind of job. The hiring manager seemed focused on buzzwords, and when I talked about my experience with them, it felt like they didn't understand the terms. I expected more from a hiring manager at a healthcare company. Their unusual LinkedIn profile made me wonder why they were hired. The whole situation and the role turned me off, so I decided not to continue.

Recruiter contact was quick and professional. The phone interview with the hiring manager was not great. The interviewer had a monotone voice and seemed unprepared. I struggled to understand the interviewer because of their accent, making it hard to grasp the role's expectations. By the middle of the call, I wasn't interested in the job anymore.
