Had a good experience with the interview and they gave a good overview of the company. The role is onsite near the giants stadium and the pay is pretty average. They should consider hybrid work given the pay. Haven't heard back from the interviewer yet but the job is still posted and I'm hopeful.

I applied for a driver job even though I didn't have a class B license. They rejected me right away because I lacked experience. The HR person emailed me, saying I could contact him with any questions. We talked, and he said he'd keep my application for a year until I got my CDL. Two weeks later, I got an email for an interview. They asked me to bring a DMV printout, which I did. I interviewed with four people that day. They told me to wait for a call back. They called me for another interview, where I'd be meeting the head of the car department, and also do a drug test and a road test, and wear a suit. I spent over $200 on a suit to fit their requirements. Going back to the first interview, as I mentioned, I spoke with four people, and they all saw my DMV printout. It showed things from over 10 years ago, from when I lost my mother, my house, my car, everything. I wasn't focused on court dates or paying tickets back then. I wasn't mentally there, and they used it against me. After they reviewed my H-6, I felt they should have moved my hiring packet to the CEO, and no further interviews should have happened. Instead, I went back for the second interview, playing the part. I took both the driving and drug tests. They said they'd call if they wanted to proceed. Four days later, stressed about everything, I got a call saying they wanted me to meet the CEO and Vice President. At this point, anyone would think it's a done deal. I got the job. I then interviewed with two people before the final interview. When I got to the main office, I interviewed with the CEO and VP, and the original person who interviewed me and took my DMV printout on day one. I left that interview with a strange, uneasy feeling and was told they would call to let me know if I was hired. I wasn't.

This interview process felt kind of off. It kicked off with a questionnaire asking for a 10x ROAS improvement example. Then, tons of follow-up questions came through LinkedIn messages. After that, there was a panel interview that seemed disengaged and unprofessional. About a week later, they wanted me to prep a presentation on campaign optimization. Next up, they asked for three references and another questionnaire. The reference request felt too soon, like they wanted to keep candidates working for free. Another week went by before a vague interview invite mentioned walking through optimization questions. On that call, it turned out they expected a live audit of their actual Google Ads account. At that point, it seemed like they wanted free consulting, not to actually hire someone. I didn't do the full audit, and then they just stopped talking to me. It was for a part-time role too. Honestly, I doubt they planned to hire anyone and just wanted free work.

You'll start with a phone interview with the head of recruitment. Then you'll come in to meet the head of your department and the VP of Sales. After that, you'll have a phone screen with the CEO. If everything checks out, you'll have a final in-person panel interview with the CEO, recruiting, VP of the department, and your direct report.
