The interview process was pretty easy, with two separate interviews. The first one was more formal and with the hiring manager, and the second one was with the Doctor. The second interview was more of a shadowing opportunity and was less formal. I got to see how the clinic was run and could ask questions as I went through my shadowing shift.

The interview process was pretty easy. My interviewer Cheryl was an absolute sweetheart and I can tell she really took the time and energy to get to know me and not just going though the motions. She described the job in much detail and seemed engaged throughout the whole interview. After I met with her, I got a callback the next day to come in and meet with HR. I met with Amber who was again very warming and I felt comfortable talking with her about my skills and experience. She then told me if everything went well that I would be hear back to do a job shadow to see if its a good fit...That same day Cheryl called me and asked me to come in and shadow and meet with another department head. I will be doing this Thursday Nov 8th and will update if a job offer is given to me!

It was a three step interview, a phone call and two in-person interviews. The phone call was to screen qualifications and desire for the role. The first in-person interview was a 1:1 with a hiring manager to assess personality, qualifications, and how well the candidate can sell themselves. The second in-person interview was the final round with the highest boss, also to sell yourself. They started with a pool of candidates and narrowed it down to ten for the second round, and three in the final round.

The initial interview seemed to go well, with appropriate questions being asked. I was contacted later that same day to set up a second interview. The second interview was unusual. The interviewer didn't ask job-related questions but instead inquired about the number of children I have. We discussed this topic for a bit. She also brought up other roles that might be a good fit for me. I didn't hear back after that second interview.
