First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Bath Fitter.
Sales Representative
The interview was STRANGE, mostly just talking back and forth with few questions. We talked about their products, the sales pitch, and commission. I mostly asked the questions, with the interviewer asking "why should we hire you?". The initial phone call was brief, just wanting to set up a meeting. Then I got called back and was asked to drive 180 miles to another location, as company policy requires two managers to approve the hire. That interview lasted 30 minutes and was about my average day and the hours: 5-7 pm m-f and 9-11 am on Saturdays. The manager told me to call after the interview. I called, and he said he would call me back later that day about my great test scores, etc. No call, so I called his cell phone and it went to voicemail. Guess no job. The offer was 10% commission on jobs sold, and I'd pay for my own gas and phone.
- Can you tell me about yourself?
- Why do you think you're the right fit for this role?
- What does a typical day look like for you?
Field Sales Representative
I met the branch manager first, then the regional sales manager separately. They both were really detailed about the job and what they expected. They were super nice and professional and told me exactly what the job is.
- How would you handle an objection about price?
Inside Sales Representative
Saw an ad on Craigslist for multiple locations. I called and was called in for an interview the next afternoon. I talked with the manager for 30 mins, and was asked basic questions, and was hired. Next day I came back and another girl and I filled out paperwork and took a short quiz.
- What is your sales experience?
- Where are you located?
- Are you open to working events and shows?
