I talked to the recruiter, then my future manager. They offered me the job during the interview. A lot of the interview was my manager talking about how great the company culture is and that they want people who fit in. I asked about salary and was told the average salesman makes $80,000 and the top earners make over $100,000.

I talked with a few different people during the interview process, which is pretty standard. I had meetings with two managers, one director, one VP, and then the CEO. I know that for positions that aren't as high up, there isn't usually this much looking into things. They're really trying to find folks who will fit well with the company vibe, can take constructive criticism, and adjust when they need to. They want people with technical or call center backgrounds who can be counted on to show up for their shifts consistently. Since the company is still pretty new, they need employees who can roll with the punches because staying innovative is super important for the business to keep going.

It was a really casual and realistic interview, pretty standard for a sales role. They asked about my expectations and salary requirements. First, I talked to the recruiter, which was great. Then, I had a chat with the Sales Director, and that went well too. Everyone was professional but also kept things pretty relaxed.

I had a chat with my potential manager, who was great. He seemed more keen on just talking than a typical Q&A. He gave me more details about the role and asked if I felt it was a good fit for me. The whole thing was very relaxed and quick, and I got the offer the next day.
