Product Manager
It was a 3+ round interview process. Started with HR, then hiring manager, and finally a peer panel. The panel interview included an exercise. The goal was to assess my fit with the company culture.

Technical Product Manager
The whole thing started around mid-June. First, I had a phone call with an HR person from Chicago. Then, I had an interview call with the leader of the product team, but he actually missed the first scheduled time and we had to reschedule. After that, I got a technical case study which I had a week to complete. I put a lot of effort into researching and writing a comprehensive report. This got me invited for an onsite interview. During the onsite, we discussed my case study further, and I was asked to write some SQL queries, which I did pretty quickly because of my development background. About two weeks later, I had a panel interview with four people: two technical product managers, two engineers, one operations person, and the SVP of product management. My interviews were going well, except for one really specific question from a product manager. Even after all these interviews, the SVP asked if he could have a quick 15-minute call if needed, and I obviously said yes. Within a week after that, I got an email saying I didn't have enough "product sense" and they weren't moving forward with me. Throughout this whole process, I wanted to point out a few things: 1. If you don't think engineers can be product managers, don't invite them for interviews. 2. If someone puts in a lot of effort, acknowledge it by asking relevant questions, not super specific ones to reject them. 3. Respect people's time; this whole process took me two months, which is way too long. Overall, I wouldn't recommend interviewing here; it's a huge waste of time and effort.

Technical Product Manager
It started with a recruiter chat, then a big take-home assignment. After that, there was a phone technical test, and then an in-person technical test focusing on SQL and databases. The final part was a 3-hour onsite with different teams, which was okay, though some people were a bit rude. The worst part was following up with HR after the onsite. They gave so many excuses for the delay – people on vacation, other candidates, etc. – and said I'd hear back in a week or two. They never actually got back to me, not even a rejection, which would have been better than all the unclear communication and false hope. They also weren't clear on the job level or salary, changing their minds. It felt like a total waste of time and energy, especially after all the work on the assignments and interviews. Definitely one of the worst hiring processes I've been through. Very unprofessional.
