Landscape Architect
I talked with a bunch of the higher-ups on Zoom. They hit me with about 6 or 7 questions about my skills and how I am, then I got to ask them about benefits. Got an offer pretty quick, like 2-3 days after. I was happy with how it went. The HR person kicked things off and then let the other employees ask stuff.
- Can you tell me about your experience with AutoCAD or Civil 3D?
Environmental Scientist
The interview process was straightforward and moved quickly through several levels. I spoke with a few different managers, and they were all very clear about the specific tasks involved in the role. While it took some time to receive a final decision, they were transparent about the reasons for the delay.
- Can you explain the entry "Blank" listed on your resume?
Water/Wastewater Engineer
HR set up a phone call with the manager and the regional VP. They mostly asked about my projects and coursework. Then, after a detailed personality test, I was invited for an onsite interview at their Newburgh office. During the onsite, they mainly asked behavioral questions and shared details about their ongoing projects.

First there was a phone screen with HR, then I interviewed with some managers, and finally I spoke with senior leadership. Some parts were on Zoom and others were in person. After the second interview, I had to do a personality test. They also gave me a detailed job offer that included a breakdown of benefits.
