First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Barentz Group.
Regulatory Coordinator
The process involved completing a survey and then two interviews, one with HR and another with the hiring managers. The HR interview was pretty typical, going over my background. The interview with the managers, however, was mostly technical.
- How do you handle having many tasks at once
M&A Manager
A headhunter reached out to me. After an initial screening, I was invited to their HQ for an interview with the line manager. It was a two-hour drive for what turned out to be a get-to-know-you chat, so it was not a great start. After the interview, I was told I didn't make it to the next round because I had recently become a parent, and they were concerned I might not be focused enough on the job.
- Can you tell me about your previous experience and your profile?
Logistic Coordinator
It was a clear and easy interview process. The people in charge listened to my answers and responded actively, even though it was on Zoom. It was truly a great experience and I felt the positive atmosphere of the team in advance.
- Can you tell me about yourself?
- What are your strengths and weaknesses?
- Do you have any specific methods for managing stress?
Market Development Specialist
I got a LinkedIn message and we set up an intro call. After that, I got to interview with the MAG director, who was really nice and easy to talk to. We chatted for about 45 minutes about the job. Then I had a second interview with the hiring team where they asked me stuff about myself as a worker and what made me interested in the role. It was also a pretty chill interview. They couldn't offer me anything because I'm not available until after May, but it seemed like they liked me.
- What specifically about the market development specialist position appeals to you?
