The interview process here is pretty laid-back, with not many questions. If you have some relevant work experience to discuss and can show professionalism, it should go well. They sometimes prefer women for front-of-house roles, but anyone could do the job.
- Can you share an instance where you resolved a conflict in a past job?
Busboy
They were very polite and clear about what the job would be. They were on time and kept the interview under an hour. The management seems to care about the restaurant and the staff.
- What makes you want to work at this establishment?
Hostess
Just walked in and got the manager's contact info. Sent an email to set up a time. The manager was really nice and seemed excited about the company and brand. It was a good experience and environment.
- What contributions can you make to our company?
- Could you describe your past work experience?
Hostess
Got referred by someone who works there, so I went in to talk to the manager. He looked at my resume, asked me about my experience and what I knew about Bareburger. He also told me about the company and what the hostess job involves. It was pretty casual, and he offered me the job right then!
- Can you tell me what you know about Bareburger?
