Manager
The process included a phone screen, two in-person interviews, and a stage. This is a typical process for a Front of House role. A stage on a busy Friday night is a clever idea.

Wine Server Sales Representative
The interview process was very unorganized. They left me hanging for about a month. In the meantime, I found another job. Then they called asking when I could start. They proceeded to blame me for not following up soon enough.
- What motivates you to want to work at this establishment?

Negotiation is possible and the response comes within a day to accept or reach an agreement.
- What made you want to apply for this position?
Server
It was a very casual interview. I met with the general manager of the restaurant and he asked me various questions regarding my serving experience. I was able to express to him that I had a pretty good knowledge of food, wine and beverage which is a huge part of the job. However, being sociable is the most important part of the job, especially for this company. So if you're of fair intelligence and can hold a conversation you should be alright.
- Tell me about your previous serving experience.
- What is your experience with food, wine, and beverages?
- How do you demonstrate sociability and conversational skills?
