First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Barbizon Lighting.
Field Service Engineer
The interview process involved 4 separate interviews with different departments/individuals, each lasting about an hour. Since I'm an experienced interviewee, it was pretty clear when they were interested. It took 3.5 weeks to get a verbal offer and 4 weeks for the written one. This process was started by a recruiter.
- How would you handle a difficult customer
Sales Associate
There were 3 different conversations. The first was with the HR Director for an initial screening. The second interview was with my direct manager. The last interview was with the National Sales Manager and the HR Director. The whole process was fast but informative and clear.
- Can you describe a time you had to make a difficult decision?
Inside Sales
They did a phone interview and a few role-playing scenarios. This was my first sales job after doing freelance work in the entertainment industry, so they really wanted to make sure I could handle sales.
- How aggressively would you approach a sales situation?
