I met with my supervisor and some coworkers. The supervisor picked me up from the lobby and we chatted while walking to the office, which was really nice. During the interview, it was the supervisor and two coworkers. They all asked questions and listened well when I responded.

I applied online and heard back in just a few days about setting up an interview with the department head. From there, I was sent to the nursing administration office and then to the manager's office for the main interview. Another person from the department joined us and shared their thoughts. The manager asked a lot about my personal life and hinted I might not be a good fit. It felt like they were trying to make me feel unwelcome. I left thinking I was a bad candidate, so I was surprised to get an offer. The pay they offered was less than I expected. When I tried to negotiate, they said negotiation isn't an option for anyone without over 30 years of experience. I turned down the job because of the $15,000 pay cut.

They will ask you behavioral interview questions. A director or manager will do an initial phone interview and then set up an in-person interview. The in-person interview lasts about 20-40 minutes, and you might have a second one. I also had interviews with people from the department and the director. They want to find the best person for the job.

The interview process was easy and very laid back. I was greeted in the lobby by one manager and led to the floor where the interview would take place. I was only interviewed by one person, who was very nice and made me feel comfortable.
