First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Baptist Health System KY & IN.
Special Procedures Technologist
It was a really easy interview process! I got a quick phone call saying they liked my application and invited me for an interview. The interview wasn't with the managers, but with 4 of my peers. They had a list of questions, and the next day, they told me I got the job! Talking with peers made it way less stressful and I felt more comfortable.
- What is your motivation for wanting this role?
Patient Access Coordinator
After applying, I received an email within a week. Then, we had an in-person interview where they asked about my experience and how I would handle specific situations. They inquired about my availability and clearly explained the policies. They also asked if I was referred by someone within the Baptist Health Systems, as this offers bonus opportunities for the referrer.
- Can you describe a situation where you had to manage a difficult circumstance and explain your approach?
Nursing Assistant
I was given a lot of information and felt all my questions were answered. There was another hospital that offered me more money and a better schedule, but I felt really confident with the manager I interviewed with so I took this job. However, a few major details about scheduling was left out that would have swayed my decision in regards to scheduling after orientation. My advice is to make sure you 100% know schedule expectations.
- Tell me about your future goals and your plan to achieve them.
Pharmacy Intern
I had a 30-minute interview that wasn't too stressful and ended up going well. The interviewers seemed keen to get to know me and hear about my past job training. They asked about my skills for the role and explained what a typical day would be like to make sure I'd still be interested.
- What are your long-term career aspirations over the next decade?
