the interviewer was really kind and thoughtful. She said I was overqualified for the role and kept in touch, checking in every couple of months. She wants to keep in touch even though they couldn't hire me.

Got a call from Henry Glickel, Manager of Talent Acquisition at BAO, super fast after applying. The call turned into a 30 min phone interview where the guy was a total jerk. He asked some weird stuff like, "How did you pay for school?" and asked some questions more than once. It was obvious he didn't even read my resume. Then he told me about a different job than the one I applied for, saying I could make $30K a year just doing cold calls. He hinted that maybe after 2 years I could get a raise. So that's like $14/hour. On top of that, he wanted me to do some online tests for computer skills. After that, I'd have to go in for a 3-hour interview. Basically, he wanted me to spend 3-4 hours of my time for a job that pays barely over minimum wage to make cold calls all day. Definitely not worth my time.

I found out about the job and sent my resume to Barclay Personnel. They got back to me super fast with a link for an online test. I did the test and the next day, they called me to set up a phone chat. I had that call the day after, and then I also had a phone interview with Henry at BAO. Everyone from Barclay, Henry and Sara, were really nice and professional, which made me even more excited. Then I met with Henri at BAO and interviewed with him and a manager named Kenny. They let me sit with someone who was doing the exact same job I applied for. I watched and listened to them to see if I could do the job and if I'd like it. They offered me the job right after the interview and I accepted. Everyone I met was really friendly, and the office vibe was great. The employees seemed to have high morale and were close-knit, clearly enjoying their work.

I first connected with the company at a job fair, and a recruiter reached out later to schedule an interview. The process involved taking assessments for Word, Excel, and Outlook. The actual interview was quite short, around 30 minutes. It was hard to gauge the interviewer's reactions. They didn't have a clear job title for the role, just mentioning it was an hourly position during the interview. It's a good idea to bring something to take notes. I didn't get an offer, but the recruiter was helpful.
