First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at BankFinancial.
Legal Counsel
The interview process was not good, they were unprofessional and didn't respond. After a phone interview, there was an in-person interview, followed by complete silence. It's rude to ignore candidates; a rejection email would be appreciated if no offer is extended.
- Can you describe your legal experience in banking law?
- Can you describe your legal experience in real estate law?
Teller Manager
The interview process was pretty standard. They asked about my previous work experience and how I could contribute to the company, if I had any goals, how I overcame objections, and about my balancing record.
- Can you describe your typical daily duties?
- What was your previous work experience and how can you contribute to our company?
- What were your goals?
Assistant General Counsel
Had a phone screening with one of the attorneys who asked about my background, gave me the lowdown on the company and position, and then I got to ask them whatever I wanted. After that, there was an in-person sit-down with the same person. They just went over the job details more and what my day-to-day would look like. The in-person part felt more like a chill chat than a formal interview. Super nice person I met with, but sadly the offer I got had pay that was too low.
- What is your experience with a particular set of law and did you take the class in law school?
Intern
I applied online and after about 3 weeks, I had a phone interview. Then, I was invited for an in-person interview. The manager was great and the employees were very friendly.
- Can you introduce yourself?
- Did you take any Real Estate classes?
- What are your career aspirations?
