First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Bankers Financial.
Operations Manager
They ghosted me! After a couple of phone interviews, they called me in for a face-to-face interview. I met with several managers, both one-on-one and in small groups. Although they seemed very disorganized, it lasted over 2 hours, and I thought it went well. The next day, I sent a thank you note. No response. After a week, I sent a follow-up. No reply. After 2 more weeks, I sent another follow-up. Nothing again. They ghosted me. They could have taken 30 seconds and sent a standard 'We're sorry but we have decided to go in a different direction' letter. Totally unprofessional and telling about their culture. Beware.
- Were standard questions asked?
Call Center Supervisor
Saw the job on Indeed.com and applied on the Bankers Financial site. Got a call after an initial phone chat with a corporate recruiter. The local recruiter then called for a more casual interview. After that, I was invited for an in-person meeting with the hiring executive. It seemed to go okay, but after a follow-up call and email, I heard nothing back. No one told me if the process was continuing, but the silence spoke volumes.
- What is something you wish you had achieved more success in?
Systems Engineer
This will likely be a contract-to-permanent role, which is good for you to check out the environment and for us to see if you can do what you say. Everyone on the team is good and knows their stuff, so be ready. They'll definitely know if you're faking it after the first few questions.
- Can you detail your experience with SCCM?
- Can you detail your experience with Hyper-V 2012r2?
- Do you understand the fundamentals of Active Directory?
Claims Adjuster
I went into a room and talked with someone who wasn't a State Farm employee but worked for Bankers Financial. It went well. After that, I went to another room with other people to fill out paperwork for employment background checks. The next Wednesday, someone from Bintech called and offered me the job.
- Can you tell me about your past jobs?
- What makes you want to be a claims adjuster?
