So the process has a few steps: first, there's an administrative selection, then an offline LGD. After that, you'll do a comprehensive online assessment which includes the usual online assessment, an online LGD, and an online interview. This is followed by a user interview, then a BOD Interview. Next up is the MCU, and finally, they'll make an offering.

For an ESG (Environmental, Social, and Governance) analyst position at a bank, the interview process is usually quite formal and structured. They want to see if you have the right technical skills, if you fit with their values, and how you behave. First, HR will look at your resume and cover letter to see if your education and past jobs match what they need for ESG work. Then, you'll have an HR interview, which is often online or by phone. This part is about figuring out why you want the job and if you're a good personality fit. They'll likely ask things like, “Why are you interested in ESG?” and “Why do you want to work with our bank?” They also check how well you communicate, if you can adapt, and your availability. It’s your chance to show you’re not only excited about sustainable finance but also that you align with the bank's bigger goals and values.

Behavioral Group Case Presentation

The interview process I went through had about 3 to 4 rounds. First, there was an initial chat with HR, which was pretty standard. Then, we had a Focus Group discussion led by HR and what seemed like a psychologist-type team, who were likely assessing our work persona. The tasks were open-ended problems we had to solve collaboratively within time limits, followed by a presentation. After that, I had an open interview with several directors and senior managers (about 4-5 people). The questions focused on the bigger picture, like our views on different aspects of banking services, and I think they were checking our cultural fit. The final round was an interview with the director of the specific department I was accepted into. This interview was more approachable, and I was given a lot of case questions, along with feedback and encouragement on my strengths.
