The process was reasonable. There was a short first interview, then a work sample task, and then a longer interview where we discussed the work sample. They had mentioned a final interview with the team, but they decided not to move forward with me.

I had an in person interview initially, without a specific job in mind but with two options to choose from. Then I had a phone interview. After that, there was a hiring task where I had to make a powerpoint and create a schedule/plan for a project. This was followed by another in person interview. Unfortunately, after all this, they decided to move the position in a different direction and not hire anyone because they didn't have the funding for it yet. Frustrating is the word I'd use to sum up this experience.

It took about 2 hours in one day. First I got a recruiter call to set up the interview for the next day. I went to their office. I met the manager first, then the technical leader. After they asked me some questions about my skills, they asked me some technical questions about databases and programming languages.
