Candidate interview experiences
First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Bank Of Tokyo-Mitsubishi UFJ.
Business Analyst
The interview process was fast-paced. However, I noticed that when HR reaches out for interviews, they should be aware of the specific demands of the profile they are hiring for. For instance, in this situation, they were seeking a BA role that required implementation experience, not just functional or product knowledge.
- Do you have functional knowledge?
- Do you have product knowledge?
- Do you have implementation experience?
Business Analyst
I had a technical interview with a line manager that lasted about 30 minutes. We talked about the new team organization changes, the details of the role, and my background. Then, I had two interviews with people who will be the client, which lasted 40 minutes. After that, I interviewed with a manager for 1 hour and then with HR for 20 minutes. Except for the first interview, all the others were on the same day.
- What is your biggest weakness?
Business Analyst
There were about four to five rounds of interviews. I spoke with VPs, Directors, and the Managing Director. It was a strengths-based interview, and they really wanted to know if I could handle multiple projects at once. They're looking for BAs who can explain complex things in a simple way, so make sure you understand the role and don't use too much technical jargon.
- Can you tell me about any templates you've previously used for writing requirements?
