I got to the interview a bit early to make sure I wasn't late. The whole process went pretty well. They asked me about handling money and my past jobs. I was a bit nervous at first, but I got more comfortable answering as we went along.

After submitting my application and resume online, I received a call about a week later to schedule a phone interview with someone from NBH headquarters, the parent company of Bank Midwest. The interview went well. Since I had prior teller experience at another bank, the conversation focused on that background. Just 15-20 minutes after the phone interview concluded, I got another call to arrange an in-person interview at the specific branch I applied to. I scheduled it for early the next week, and that interview also went smoothly. The following day, I received a job offer, which I accepted. The entire process was remarkably quick because they needed to fill the position urgently.

I started at bank Midwest as a part timer and before coming into the company I had two phone interviews. I later transferred to KC as a Universal Banker by a in person interview. They ask you basic interview questions like any other job. What are your strengths, weaknesses, how do you handle tough situations and things of that sort.

So, first off, you gotta apply online, no paper stuff. If they like your app, HR will call you for a phone interview. If you do good on that, they'll send your application to the bank manager or sup at the location you want. They'll set up an in-person interview. If you nail that, the manager sends it back to HR for a final look. Then, bam, job offer!
