I was emailed by the internal recruiter after applying and asked about salary expectations, which I answered. There was no reply for a month until they got back to me saying they wanted to move forward and set up an interview. After the interview, I got an automated rejection email about 6 hours later. No feedback, just an automated email, which is bad practice for candidates who make it to the interview stage. A shameful company with shameful practices.

Had an initial telephone interview first, then met with two Senior Management heads of department. The next part involved a Presentation, a Case Study, and some Excel tests (like Index Matching, Pivot tables, and compiling data sets). If you're good at building basic financial models from scratch, you'll find it easy.

A third party recruiter reached out about this role. After a month of no contact, they scheduled an onsite interview for me at the NYC office. I met with HR and the person currently in the role. Things went well, and they invited me back a few weeks later to meet the office MD. That meeting also went well, and I was told I'd be speaking with the IT director at the home office. I waited two weeks with no word, then the recruiter contacted me to say they decided not to proceed with my application.
