My interview experience with Bang was unlike any other. First, I had an interview with four company representatives. Then, I was invited back for a second interview with about four different people. They each took turns talking about the company and asking me questions. The whole thing felt pretty casual and comfortable, though I'd never had interviews with so many representatives before.

The worst process I have ever experienced. I got a call from HR to come to the Weston office for an interview. They said to text/email them when I arrived because they had to let me into the building. I arrive to the location 10 minutes early and let them know I was there. Got no response. So I ended up waiting 30 minutes in the sun. Still no response from anyone. I was finally let into the building by someone working at another company. I get into the building and can’t find anyone. The one person I do find from bang made it seem like it was a burden that I was there asking him questions. He finally agreed to call the HR lady to ask what was up. But while he was doing this he requested that I wait outside his office. 10 minutes pass with no response from him and so I go back in his office to ask. Only then did he comment that the HR lady had responded and said she would be coming down. At this point it was 40 minutes past when my interview was supposed to be. So I just left. Don’t waste your time with this company. They will not respect you or your time.

The HR person reached out to me first wanting my social media usernames and links for screening. Then, they called me to set up a video interview on Microsoft Teams. There were about six interviewers in the panel, but only two or three actually asked questions. A major issue was that the job duties didn't align with the job posting. The posting said the job would be remote temporarily due to COVID, but in the interview, I was told no, and it seemed like the interviewer thought that was obvious. Also, when I inquired about salary, I was informed it wasn't the right time to discuss it, which was surprising as I've never been criticized for asking about pay during an interview. The whole interview felt awkward, so I was really surprised when they asked for a follow-up.

I originally applied for a Director role, but the recruiter reached out about a different position and didn't even discuss the role I applied for. She just thanked me for my interest in this other role.
