The whole interview process was great, and I got a really good intro to sales leadership, the company's vision, and the specifics of the job. It also gave me a great chance to ask questions and really dig into what it's like working at Bancsource. I was first contacted by a recruiter, then had phone interviews with three VPs, and finally a video call with the CEO. All the stages were tough but informative, and it's obvious they want to hire the right people.

I had to chase this guy for six weeks before he finally took my call and interviewed me over the phone. He asked about my experience with Itran scanners and NCR ATMs. I told him I didn't have any experience with either, and he said it was 'no problem' because they would send me to school for it.

Behavioral Presentation

I was first contacted by a headhunter, and the initial communication was very professional. Later, I had the chance to visit the company's main office in Springfield and meet with the top executives. The CEO has assembled a strong team with deep industry experience, and they are supported by a board of directors who collectively bring decades of expertise. They all seemed genuinely enthusiastic about the future prospects. Some who were with the company before it was acquired mentioned a significant shift in morale and a renewed sense of excitement. Their energy was quite infectious. My only suggestion for improvement would be to extend the interview timeline. I would have appreciated more time to interact with the team, perhaps even staying overnight to share a meal. When interviewing for such a demanding and complex role, it's crucial to feel a good fit with the company culture and team dynamics, which the current formal process makes challenging.

I was contacted by the SVP of Sales and had an initial phone interview. A couple weeks later, I went to the company headquarters for four in-person interviews. They showed me around their new facility and talked about their goals for the company. The people I met were really energetic and passionate about Bancsource. I think they're on the right track and it would be a great place to work.
