Candidate interview experiences
First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Banco do Brasil.
Customer Service Representative
First, I had a quick phone call, about 15 minutes, no heads up. It started in English, but after 5 minutes, we switched to Portuguese. They asked about my background, my career gap, and where I learned English. Then, she set up an interview with the branch manager and her assistant. That lasted about 30 minutes. They asked about corporate behavior, simulated some situations, and what I thought made a good work environment and how my skills could help the team. She also talked a bit about the company's benefits and said they'd wrap up the process in 2 weeks.
- How could your skills help the company?
Customer Service Representative
It was a great process. The HR and management were highly skilled. The first contact was with their talent acquisition employee, and they made the process very easy and enjoyable. Once I was accepted, the onboarding process was also well done and easy to do.
- Could you tell me about your previous banking experience?
Atendente
The first stage was straightforward: a test covering math, Portuguese, and computer science, followed by an essay where we were free to choose the topic. After that, there was a personal interview.
- What was the reason for leaving your previous employment?
